Welcome to the Official Website of Khadijah Mohammad Islamic Academy (KMIA)
Khadijah Mohammad Islamic Academy is a government-recognized private Islamic educational institution in the Philippines dedicated to providing quality academic education in service of the Bangsamoro and Filipino people. Our mission is to offer accessible and community-centered learning that equips students with the knowledge and competence needed to contribute meaningfully to society.
Founded by Dr. Sophia A. Sharief and the late Datu Agakhan Mangondato Sharief, KMIA was established with a vision to uplift communities through education and public service. Despite being internally displaced during the Marawi Siege in 2017, the Academy remained steadfast in its commitment to continue educating its learners — proving its resilience and devotion to its students and community.
Under the leadership of Dra. Queen Sharief Pamaloy, KMIA continues to grow while upholding its long-standing dedication to academic excellence. Over the years, the institution has proudly produced thousands of graduates now serving in government sectors, including licensed teachers, public servants, and members of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
As we move forward, KMIA remains committed to strengthening education in the Bangsamoro and contributing to the progress of the Filipino nation. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our history, programs, and ongoing service to the community.
